Hi all,

I'd like to ask you for help with a possible issue. I suspect that my computer is sending SPAM (or doing something else it is not supposed to be doing). I use Maxthon 2.5.9 browser, ESET Smart Security 4. After I log into Windows (Vista) and connect to the Interent and access any page, in ESET I can see a bunch of connections to different IPs. They disappear after a while but it bothers me cause I access only one site (email account) and I see that connection in the list as well. I've checked my system with Spybot Search & Destroy (didn't find anything), got HiJack This! log (can't really see anything wrong with this but I'm no expert). Could anyone help me with this. Thanks in advance.

If you suspect malware...

Please follow the instructions in ==>This Guide<==.

Once the proper logs are created, then make a NEW TOPIC and post it ==>HERE<== Please include the link to this topic in your new topic and a description of your computer issues and what you have done to resolve them.

If you can produce at least some of the logs, then please create the new topic and explain what happens when you try to create the log(s) that you couldn't get. If you cannot produce any of the logs, then still post the topic and explain that you followed the Prep. Guide, were unable to create the logs, and describe what happens when you try to create the logs.

Once you have created the new topic, please reply back here with a link to the new topic.

Now that you have posted a log in the BC Malware Removal Logs forum, I will close this thread to prevent unintentional confusion and well-intentioned suggestions.

This thread is now closed.
