When I'm playing a game windows asks me if I want to change visual settings and unless I answer I can't keep playing my game. is there a regestery key or somethign I can remove to make it never ask this question again?

I'm currently playing Resident Evil 5. The prompt keeps asking me to change winds settings to basic. since I am playing a full screen game it shouldn't matter right?

When you are playing a game via full screen all aero effects will be disabled, and windows will be turned to Windows Basic to give as much power to the game as possible.

But then why does it minimize the game and ask if I want it to change to basic?

Does it do it just for that one game?

no any high graphics game. up until it displays the prompt the game runs smooth. once it displays it usually minimizing the game breaks it and I have to restart it before it starts running fine.
