Need help with LogitechDesktopMessenger.exe.vir removal

At start up a window pops up informing me that windows cannot open this file (LogitechDesktopMessenger.exe.vir). My understanding is that the .vir extension is not a good thing. Is there anyone who can help me remove this virus/malware?
