When clicking a link it opens with Internet Explorer, how do i get it to open with Firefox?

Where is the the originating link? Email? what type? Web based or Email client and if client which one, please. In a different browser? Word document? A little more information please.

When i click any link. On IRC, when i click my emails on MSN they all open up with internet explorer. Some click on here open in new tabs in Firefox, like your facebook and twitter link.
