This may sound like a bad idea, but I need to stop my Malwarebytes prematurely. It's found 14 objects, and I'm pretty confident that it won't find anything more. The thing is, I don't know how much longer it will take to complete and I need to turn my computer off for the night. While I plan to run a full-length test in the morning, I would like the 14 objects removed ASAP. My question is if I abort the Malwarebytes scan now, will it still kill the infections? Or would I have to wait until I scan it again tomorrow?

*EDIT*

I stopped it midscan and it still disposed of the files, in case anyone else wanted to know.

I just don't understand why you do not have 20 minutes to an hour to see if your PC is fully clean an there are no infections in yout Restore Points.

Namely because it was very late and I needed to get some sleep. I couldn't leave my PC on overnight and I wasn't sure how much longer it would take for the scan to complete. Malwarebytes is not my usual anti-virus scanner, but I decided to use it. And just kinda on a sidenote it took more than an hour to scan because I did a full scan rather than a quickscan.
