Hello,
I have a Dell that is running on Windows XP sp3. When I try to open an application it thinks, the circle keps spinning, for hours sometimes the app loads in 30 minutes and then it starts to think again for hours. I have done spyware and malware checks and all are clean. It works fine in safe mode.
Thank you.

Nothing is running in the background. It just restores comparatively fast but once I try to open any app it takes forever. C is 140gb out of which 80gb free. How do I check RAM?

Start/Run...type msinfo32 and hit Enter.

Total Physical Memory is the last line in the right window. That's how much physical RAM is installed.

I think I stole that from Louis..
