Hello,
Recently my pc (Vista) was infected with Antimalware Doctor and several other adware programs (EZlife and adrotator). After an arduous battle the Antimalware Doctor was successfully removed as was most of adware via Malwarebytes Antimalware and manual deletion from the registry using regedit. I then used system restore to a point that I believed was far enough back in order to straiten out multiple issues such as "invalid pipe setting" error messages and nonworking internet explorer and Fire fox.

All was well until I noticed that URL misdirections still continued and windows explorer functions such as control panel were crashing.
I reran Antimalwarbytes Antimalware and it found nothing. I also ran HouseCall and Windows defender with no success.

I'm pretty sure my computer is still infected (my web browsers were not interested in incessantly informing me about work-at-home-goldmines in previous days) but with nothing showing up in my toolkit of scanners I'm at a loss as to how to remove it.

Any suggestions?

Thank you in advance for any advice.
