I have an old box currently running Windows 2000 Professional, which is biult on the old NT kernal AIUI.

I need to upgrade this box to ron only Windows XP Pro.

I have seen on E bay and elsewhere various Windows XP Pro "upgrade packages.

Some packages sellers seem to state that their item will upgrade from Win 85, 98, 98SE and (uggh) MIllenium, all of which I under5stand to be built on the old '95 kernals.

Will someone here seriously knowledgable pleeas let me know if there is a direct upgrade path from Win2KPro to XP Pro and what the package is?

Thank you!
