This strian of avian flu is particularly virulent, and the big fear is that it could become a zoonoses disease. As virulent as this strain is it could have similar effects to those of the 1918 Spanish flue pandemic. There have been 60 deaths in the last two years that are directly related to the avian flue known as H5N1. The threat level is high enough that President Bush has asked congress to give him the power of the military to enforce quarantines.

As scary as this is, the head line for this article was scarier...Bush wants right to use military if bird flu hits :thumbsup:

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.
