Maybe wasting your time but yesterday I opened a phishing attachment to a bank email. It was in spam but as we had recently contacted the bank and were expecting a reply, I opened it. It was obvious what it was, as it wanted all our details. I closed it, sent a copy to the bank and ran my anti virus.
I have a lap top with Windows 7 and running AVG free antivirus and spyware backed up by Windows defender. Both scans found nothing but Defender asked me to send a copy of a file called silverlightening. I have never had this before.
Is there any other steps I can take, any extra software I need to download to make sure I'm not carrying something?
As usual fellas any help greatly appreciated.
