Installation of Windows 7 Question

Hey.. If I Install a new windows 7 ultimate, does it delete my files??? and do i need to download some of the needed files to make win7 work properly??

it creates a directory called Windows.old when you fresh install it the .old directory allows u to transfer between the two but It will not delete the files.

Everything should be in the installation files in the cd. Make sure that you have all the Drivers for the Windows 7 OS

Please check the Windows 7 compatibility wizard before you preceded.

Windows 7 moves all the files to Windows.old folder, only on the partition on which you intend to install Windows 7. It will not touch any file on any other partition.

You do not have to download anything to make Windows 7 to work. For activating Windows license, you will have to connect to the internet.
