Unfortunately, this is all leftovers from my attempt to get help from another sites forums. It's been damn near 2 weeks now and I still have yet to get a solution from them. All they do is suggest Combofix, give me a script to put in, and post a log. Hell, it's been a week since their last reply!

Please forgive me if this turns out to be a long read...

This started out as a Google redirect virus. I posted on an anti-virus/malware forum that seemed to know what they were doing. They asked me to install, run, and post logs for Malwarebytes, HijackThis, and CCLeaner. I did all that. They asked me to use Combofix and post a log. I did that. They asked me to create a script txt to run in combofix.... several different ones over the coarse of several different posts with corresponding logs on each one. So here I am, nearly 2 weeks later with random pop ups, another Trojan (Called 'Hosts'? It's infected my rundll32.exe!) that I can't seem to get rid of... I have AVG stopping tracking cookies every time I even OPEN FireFox.

As you can see, I'm very frustrated and very tired. I've performed tons of scans.... each taking over an hour to complete... I just want this nightmare to be over.

If it helps you get an idea of where I'm at... here's is a link to the forum where I originally asked for help.

I'll understand if you want to take your time to look over the entire thing to get a good understanding of where we are now. There are several Combofix logs there to look through. Since you guys were able to help me with my parents computer.... I just want to know someone can help and that I don't need to reformat my HDD.

Okay, I did multiple scans with MBAM, AVG, and CCleaner with my internet disabled. As far as they are concerned, my machine in clean. I get on Fire Fox... 2 minutes later I get a pop up. I check Google and it still redirects. WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY MACHINE?!?!?

Hello,

It appears as though your topic is not complete over there. I would suggest sending a PM to your helper there. Include the link to your topic and inform him/her that you are awaiting further instructions. It is possible that your topic got overlooked; it happens sometimes.

Because you ARE in the middle of the malware removal process over there, I am closing this topic to avoid muddling things and making the removal process more difficult.
