I didnt realize coffee had taurine in it, Always thought it was caffeine that gave you the rush from coffee. . .

Monster vs. Coffee? Well, does Monster make a nice mix with Sambuca?

I am a strictly coffee girl myself. I do not like the tanginess of most energy drinks. I did sample my son's Monster Java and it was actually pretty good and I imagined it would go nicely with a shot of Bailey's irish Creme hehe

Energy drinks? Try Gridlock next time you're at Aldi. 89 cents/can.

Coffee? Black out of a moka pot. Best easy to clean stove top coffee pot in the world.

Taurine: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taurine

The crash that is noted after energy drink consuption is largely in part to the high sugar content. Caffine also has a crash effect to it to although it has a much slower depletion rate so it does not appear to hit all at once unlike sugar.

After years of consuming massive amounts of Soft drinks, energy drinks, and coffee. I have managed to limit myself to only one Mountain Dew per day just untill the 2 crates i bought run out then none at all hopefully.
