So I have tried Norton, Malwarebytes, Spybot, Adaware, Windows Defender (I was desperate), and SuperAntiSpyware. I also have zone alarm.

I can't connect to windows updates. I get random windows that open in both IE and Firefox. I also get to a point where the computer freezes.

Two things to note: When I run Adaware, I get about 3/4 of the way done and it crashes. I have deleted, reinstalled a few times. No luck.

I have done scans both in Safe mode and regular. Like I said, I also cannot connect to microsoft updates at all.

Im using Windows XP Media Edition.

I hope some here is better at this than I am. Thanks in advance!!!!!!!!!
