Good Morning,

System: Dell 8400

About 5 days ago I suddenly had no sound. As I checked the device manager I see there is no Soundmax driver there anymore. I have tried system restore but no luck. I have d/l drivers from Dell with no luck.

Can anyone help me with this problem?

Thank you very much,

Tony

Go to Start>Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs>:Find the sound drivers (if any)Remove them.

Go here: http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/...DIM_PNT_P4_8400

Download Sound Drivers>Restart and it should work. Good luck
