Ok so I have a desktop PC, my brother has a laptop. We connect to the internet through a modem and a router. ADSL connection.
The thing is, when my brother turns on the laptop the internet connection is reconnecting. This is frustrating since I could be playing a real strategy game online and I get a disconnect. Can this be solved somehow?

I don't know if you need more information but I can give you anything.

Does it reset if he's on first, then you turn it on? What is he doing? Download, torrents, gaming, or? Have you scanned with a anti-virus program on both computers? Who is your ISP?
