I've saved the DDS files but get that blank explorer window when i try to do the GMER step. I've been trying to get rid of this for 2 straight days and desperately need help....thank you, thank you. becky

Hello,

Please post the DDS logs and a description of your computer issues along with what you have done to try to resolve them. Forget about GMER at this point.

Once you have posted the logs and description, I shall merge that post into your initial post and remove my reply so your topic won't get lost.
