Hello,

I have been having a number of problems with my computer for the past two months. I'll be able to fix it for a couple of days, maybe a week, and then something new starts. Originally I had the Nail.exe file causing problems, but I seem to have rid myself of that. My computer CPU is running wild, and causing my computer to regularly overheat. My computer also turns off to the stop blue screens, and the reason seems to alternate. One stop error says "STOP: c000021a {Fatal System Error}" and the status is 0xc0000005. The other blue screen says: "A problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down...PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA...Technical information: STOP: 0x00000050 (0x83000000, 0x00000000, 0x826E855E, 0x00000000)". I don't know if either of these things has to do with whatever else is wrong with my computer, but when I report the error to Microsoft they say that it could be caused by a Trojan.

I ran Ad-Aware SE and this is my hijackthis log:

Click on start, settings, control panel and double-click on add/remove programs. From with add/remove program uninstall the following if they exist:

Surf Sidekick
AdsGone

Then,

Print out these instructions and then close all windows including Internet Explorer.

Then I want you to fix some of those entries. Please do the following:

Please make sure that you can view all hidden files. Instructions on how to do this can be found here:

How to see hidden files in Windows

Run Hijackthis again, click scan, and Put a checkmark next to each of these. Then click the Fix button:
