Hi to all Bleepers, Snivellers, Low-Level Users, and Whiners (just like me ! ! !)

This looks like a knowledgeable group of good people, ready to help each other out.

Here's my home page intro:

Location: Sebring, Florida (near the Grand Prix Track, otherwise it's a pretty sleepy place, a Mayberry South atmosphere)
It's about the same distance to both Fla coasts from here, just North of the big lake, and the highest elevation in Southern Fla, about 40 feet. I'm not going through that Hurricane Andrew scene again like I did in 1991. I lived in the Keys then, evacuated to my Buddies house in South Miami, into the eye of the storm. At least here I'll stay dry, if I stay. My strategy is to hold fast until I see exactly which coast the hurricane is headed for, then head out in the other direction to an opposite coast Holiday Inn with a backup generator. Live out of my Caddy's trunk full of emergency supplies til the power comes back on. That's the roughest part - No Juice ~ Ouch, not to mention the Skeeters. People get real ugly too, fightin over their place in line at the gas station, for ice, free food, etc. The small town folks seem to pull together to survive the crisis, but in places like Miami, whoa, The guns are comin out by the second day and they're just looking for reasons to go at each others throats. There just ain't no reasonable option but to Haul XXX for a couple of weeks. Well, that's the storm preparedness update from Paradise.

My Profile:
Motorhead (Chevy's mostly) Currently looking for a Street Rod
My Wheels~ '91 Porsche 928 S4 (needs work) A Road Beast
'98 Seville STS ~Wow, The STS is a Blast to drive
I've got a couple of cool Comfort Bikes, Lookin for a Scooter.
Fisherman ~ any kind, don't even care if i catch one. it's the Hunt.
Swimming, Beach, Any Boat ride.
Bahamas/PR/DR/Mexico/Belize/Costa Rica beachfront travel & leisure time.
X-Marine ~ Nam Vet
X-Apple Mfg Engineer ~ 5yrs
(Got a gold Apple lapel pin W/5 Diamonds ~ too cool lookin and kinda unique)
X-Intel Eng Materials Buyer/Planner ~5yrs (no pin, just Stock)
X-Lam (Semi Equip) Fabrication Buyer
SanFrancisco State University Grad

Now I'm finally back in my Home State (a Miami Native), after years of wandering in the wilderness.

Kinda semi-retarded, I mean -retired. Every day's a weekend for now. I'm threatening to start my own internet-based business but I haven't figured out exactly what it is yet. Something like hand-tied Irish Fishing Flies, Fly-of-the-Month Club kinda thing. Just set it up to drop ship everything and let Pay-Pal handle the rest. Anybody got any suggestions?

I look forward to trading posts with some of you in the future.

(That's kinda like Benign Neglect, as in to coveniently "Turn a Blind Eye" cause everybody's got some sort of impropriety to hide, know what I mean?)

Be sure to check out the New User Orientation and the excellent Tutorials.
