My Outlook 2007 (Windows Vista Home Premium) hasn't been opening 1/2 the time & when it does the hard drive has repeated clicking. I get cyclic errors in MS Outlook. My hardware diagnostics test (HP diagnostics) reported that the SMART self test short failed...read element failed. Error Code HD521-2. Isn't this supposed to mean that the hard drive is failing & needs to be replaced? That's what I assumed UNTIL Outlook 2007 just crashed on my husband's Toshiba Satellite running Windows Vista Home Premium. Could it be a coincidence that both of us are having problems with Outlook, or could our network be compromised/infected?

We both run Kaspersky 2010 Int. Sec. and I've also run Malwarebytes A-M on my cpu; nothing found.

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.
