This is continuation of thread from here.

I follwed the instructions step 6 onwards. I was not able to successfully run GMER. It appears to run all the way to end but hangs up when I tried to SAVE the log.

DDS logs are below and attached

Hi,

Please visit this webpage for download links, and instructions for running ComboFix tool:

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/combofix/how-to-use-combofix

Please ensure you read this guide carefully first.

Please continue as follows:
  1. Close/disable all anti virus and anti malware programs so they do not interfere with the running of ComboFix, link
    Remember to re-enable them afterwards.

  2. Click Yes to allow ComboFix to continue scanning for malware.

When the tool is finished, it will produce a report for you.

Please include the following reports for further review, and so we may continue cleansing the system:

C:\ComboFix.txt
New dds log.

A word of warning: Neither I nor sUBs are responsible for any damage you may have caused your machine by running ComboFix. This tool is not a toy and not for everyday use.

I have tried couple of times but not able to successfully run Combo-Fix. Both times the program never completes. I have waited 24 hrs for each run. Each time I unloaded the anti-virus programs and disabled the firewall and MS security center. Any suggestions ?

Hi- I am not able to run Combofix based on the instructions- it hangs up after the message " it will take 10 mins but times may double for severely infected computers" right at the beginning !

Hi- there are several logs so I am going to attach them

1) Combofix- run in SAFE mode

2) Kaspersky- I could only get it to complete in SAFE mode with Networking

3) DDS run in Normal model

I am having problems connecting to the internet with my wireless adapter. The only way I can connect is now through SAFE mode !

Also I was able to complete all the instructions that you had included.

Hi,

1. Download TDSSKiller and extract its contents into a folder in desired location (i.e. c:\tdsskiller).
2. Execute the file TDSSKiller.exe and wait for the process to finish.
3. Post back contents of log file in c: drive root (name should be in UtilityName.Version_Date_Time_log.txt format)
