My understanding of the Registry online is that you must use a valid email address. If you do not provide one, you must use the phone number you have listed. I looked it up and it is the Registry's number. I was getting a lot of sales calls on my cel phones before going to the website and submitting all of my numbers (cel, home, businesses) and now I get ZERO. The website press releases / info, does not mention this new deadline for the release of cel numbers, but it could be on the way and not listed as of today.

The National Do Not Call Registry They give you a choice about whether or not to receive telemarketing calls at your business, home or cell phone.

Eh I have NOT received any telemarketing phone calls on my cell phone. I signed all our numbers up for this service back in 2003 when it first came out. And its still active.

Hey folks - isn't this warning an urban myth?

I just had a memory that I'd heard this somewhere before, and found these on Googling for it.

Cheers

Report them. I have done so myself. They will be dealt with. I asked where they were located and what thier phone # was.
As if I was just curious. Extra ammo.

I like your strategy Scarlett.

I got my own way, we do get a lot of calls, but they just stupid "unavailable" numbers which I think are excluded from the "DoNotCall" list.

I'll just pick up the phone and not say anything sit it down and walk away go do something and come back and usually they'll hang up. (I was told that they weren't allowed to hang up, that it was against company policy)

Or just answer it and started talking with them as if they were your friend and see how long you can keep them on the phone (waste there time, if they want to waste my time I'm going to waste there time)

No it doesnt.
Try getting one of those handheld air horns on a compressed air can at walmart and put that in the phone for a bit. I saw this on tv lol...

Tell them to not call your house back again thats a start.

If they keep going on and on hang up.
