Hi everyone!

I just joined and first I wanna say this is amazing what you all do here! My brother referred me to this site after I was infected with the "antispyware soft" virus..he's a computer genius, I'm not (hence my username) lol. Anyway, so I followed instructions from here: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-remo...ntispyware-soft
Did all of that and supposedly rid myself of the virus.

*Oh, and I also ran Search & Destroy in safe mode after following that tutorial and just deleted everything that showed up..which I think was like just one item*

However, not even a day after I was "cleaned" I start experiencing problems particularly with firefox, which is the main browser I use. I noticed problems everytime I searched via yahoo. All the results I clicked on were redirected to some random sites. I thought maybe yahoo was having technical difficulties so I tried google search and that's been working fine. I'm fairly certain that it's not yahoo that's having the problems though..lol, please help!

...ok, now it seems to be acting up with google now. The virus is spreading...? Oh, also not sure if this helps but it seems that for every site i'm redirected to, the little icon next to the browser URL is of a bluish spring/spiral-like thing.

Hello,

Please follow the instructions in ==>This Guide<== starting at Step 6.

Once the proper logs are created, then make a NEW TOPIC and post it ==>HERE<== Please include a description of your computer issues and what you have done to try to resolve them.

If you can produce at least some of the logs, then please create the new topic and explain what happens when you try to create the log(s) that you couldn't get. If you cannot produce any of the logs, then still post the topic and explain that you followed the Prep. Guide, were unable to create the logs, and describe what happens when you try to create the logs.
