Multiple IE Processes in Background

Having the same problem. I understand the IE8 will have 2 processes running when 1 instance is open however I have no instances of IE open and 20 processes of IE running in backround. I have ran Browser Hijack Retaliator but does nothing. At a loss.

EDIT: Moved to Am I Infected from XP ~ Hamluis.
