Hey guys! First of all I want to say how helpful this site is for the everyday user. Kudos to everyone who contributes to helping the amateurs like me  Ok now to my problem:

I just sent in a laptop for repair and its going to be a while till it comes back so I had to fetch a 3 year old Inspiron 600m running on XP. I find that the startup is excruciatingly slow and windows take a long time to appear. Could anyone help me diagnose the problem? Thankx!!
