well this started 2 days ago i noticed whenever i started a new browser window i get a pop up to a random webside along with the normal start page. then about every certain amount of time i start to get pop ups to adds related to what i just visited.

Tried several fixes on the ms web page to try to sync to windows update but none of them ever worked. the web page gives me the error: 0.x80072EFF.

i cannot connect to the windows update website it gives me a conection error like the site is not there.
flushed the dns and it connected to the site but still cant sync to updates.

I did a scan with mallwarebytes and it found some trojans but the problem persisted. I scaned with AVG and found nothing.

I want to report that when i try to open the dds.scr to create a log i get a notepad file full of symbols, the file is identified as a autocad script file (diferent icon). i dont know how to change the extension so it opens correctly please help.

My security software is AVG latest free version and outpostfirewall 2009.

thanks.

Hello,

Please follow the instructions in ==>This Guide<==.

Once the proper logs are created, then make a NEW TOPIC and post it ==>HERE<== Please include a description of your computer issues and what you have done to try to resolve them.

If you can produce at least some of the logs, then please create the new topic and explain what happens when you try to create the log(s) that you couldn't get. If you cannot produce any of the logs, then still post the topic and explain that you followed the Prep. Guide, were unable to create the logs, and describe what happens when you try to create the logs.
