I previously had my search engine hijacked and recently scanned with Webroot Anti Virus and Malwarebytes. After the 3rd or 4th scans the redirect seems to have gotten better, but shortly after booting up the mouse pointer moves around the desktop and then strange things happen.
No matter what program I click on, once I click it freezes. The mouse pointer will move but nothing opens. The status could be "waiter for...", or "done" but nothing happens. Soon thereafter the mouse pointer freezes as well and I have to turn the machine off to get movement again.
Most programs work in Safe Mode.
I download music a lot because I DJ but I haven't used P2P in a long time and use Kazaa sometimes for my own music. The Kazaa Plugin won't work anymore because it finds the file and the download fails. This started happening with this freeze action.
I use an HP a1412n with Windows XP SP3. I have a D-Link DWA-130 Adapter with a Belkin N router. With the search engine redirects last week I was kicked offline continually and Belkin and my ISP tech support got me back up.
I am hoping that someone can tell me what I must "fix" in this log file, I hope someone can help me.
