Bought a computer from Salvation Army the was used when GI Joes was in buissness. Can't get passed the password page and decided to reformat or use repair off of a windows registered xp disk. The problem is the cd rom does not work to operate the disk, so i can't even reinstall windows. replaced with working cdrom off of another cpu, nothing. The Floppy doesn't work ither. cant get in safe mode because the pop up said to press CTRI+ ALT+ DEL to begin but remains frozen on safe mode page. When pressing keys. Some how the password is locking most everything down.

From BC rules:
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/boardrules.php

No subject matter will be allowed whose purpose is to defeat existing copyright or security measures. If a user persists and/or the activity is obviously illegal the staff reserves the right to remove such content and/or ban the user. This would also mean encouraging the use or continued use of pirated software is not permitted, and subject to the same consequences.
