Where can I find a free internet answering machine? One that isn't just a free trial and then you have to pay afterwards.

Fremder,

There are two listed here. I've never used them so I can't comment on reliability or operation.

Well, none of them are free. I believe one was CallWave which isn't free. Is there any Internet Answering Machine or do I mean Caller ID? I think I mean Caller ID that is free.

Do you mean software that tells you when and who is trying to call while you're online with dialup, so you can decide weather to go offline to answer? If so,I was just about to ask the same question about a free internet caller ID.

If you just want offline caller ID then Traysoft has a free caller ID, but if you want to use their internet caller ID then you have to pay a one time $15. I tried their 30 free trial and liked it, if I can't find a similar free program I'll probably buy it. But I'd rather find something free...... Ya, I'm cheap
