HELP HELP!

I recently found the spyware program Eblaster installed on my personal PC. I have found various instructions online as to how to manually remove this software without having to purchase a removal program, but most of the postings are outdated. Also, I get to the point at which I need to go into the registry to find specific programs and commands to delete and I'm not sure where to look.

Can anyone help a novice computer user remove this from her PC!?! i'm worried all of my credit card and banking information is being reported to someone else.

HELP!!! I'd appreciate any advice/detailed instructions you can provide.

Download HiJackThis - this program will help us determine if there are any spyware/malware on your computer.
  • Double-click on the file you just downloaded.
  • Click on the "Unzip" button to install the newer version.
  • It will by default install to the directory - C:\Program Files\HiJackThis\
  • If it gives you an intro screen, just choose - Do a system scan and save a logfile.
  • If you don't get the intro screen, just hit [Scan] and then click on Save log.
  • Post the HiJackThis.log file here.
