Not long ago, I got help here to eliminate problems on my daughter's computer related to Google redirect virus. I thought my own machine was well protected, but then my computer was infected with Win32/Nuqel.E. I put the computer in safe mode and ran MalwareBytes Anti-Malware. That eliminated the Nuqel.E infection, but immediately afterwards, I discovered that Google (on both Firefox and IE) was redirecting to ad sites--not always, but most of the time. In addition, the computer developed other problems, especially on start-up. At one point, I was getting an error message that Remind_XP.exe was having problems and would be shut down. Most recently, MSN tried to install itself completely unbidden.

I have run SuperAntiSpyware, MalwareBytes Anti-Malware, Spysweeper, and Hitman Pro. I eliminated all problems they found, and now each of them comes up clear. But Google redirect continues, as do other problems on start-up. I would appreciate any help you can offer.

Hello,

Please follow the instructions in ==>This Guide<== starting at Step 6.

Once the proper logs are created, then make a NEW TOPIC and post it ==>HERE<== Please include a description of your computer issues and what you have done to try to resolve them.

If you can produce at least some of the logs, then please create the new topic and explain what happens when you try to create the log(s) that you couldn't get. If you cannot produce any of the logs, then still post the topic and explain that you followed the Prep. Guide, were unable to create the logs, and describe what happens when you try to create the logs.
