I see a lot of avatars of animals. Especially cats and kittens. What type of pets do you have?
I have two 11 year old cats, yellow ally and a black tabby. Also have a 2 year old 4 pound Yorkshire terrier. Did you know Yorkies were originally working dogs.
I adopted my two cats while on patrol as a Sheriff's deputy. They were in the middle of the road (on the yellow line) , I stopped and picked them up and brought them home. I am guessing they were less than 6 moths old then.
Pi, the Yorkie, is constantly getting his butt handed to him by Tom S. Cat, the yellow ally. Sissy is the black tabby.

We did have, at one time, a lot of pets.

2 German Shepherds
1 black cat
3 hamsters
1 black African Emperor Scorpion (Like on Mummy 2)

Now we are down to just one German Shepherd named Paco. He's 9 yrs old.
The other one, Prince, was the prettiest German Shepherd we'd ever seen. But Paco is darker, more K9 looking.

Both dogs, several years ago

Prince, several years ago

P.S. Thanks for reminding me to get more recent pics of things around here. LOL

My Sissy looks like the one to the right of the orange and white. The blak with copper splashes.
That is what my house would look like if I could just hit the lotto.

I have a male sealpoint siamese named Rocky Racat, and a female bluepoit named Natasha Nastykski, they are both sixteen years old, but still go through their usual two out of three falls with each other every morning.

how can one afford to feed 30+ cats? mostly short hairs? thats a good thing.

the fur from our cats has infested our car. they never go in the car. all the fur gets to the car from us.

I dont really like pets............. so i dont have any pets.

But in a way, thats a good thing..
Because I am really bad at taking care of things so if I had a pet, the pet would most likely become sick/die........ which would be bad.....
although, if I had to have a pet, I would probably want a turtle..... because turtles are cool......
