Hello. I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but my memry on my C drive keeps getting lower and lower for some reason. I have ran ccleaner to try and free up some memory I have also uninstalled all kinds of programs. this has freed up some room but then its back down to about 1 gig in a couple of hours. I don't know what is going on with it any help would be appreciated. thank you.

How big is the drive?

Download, and install Disk Space Reporter: http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System...-Reporter.shtml
In opening windows, select a drive to be scanned. Make sure, there is a checkmark in Store filenames in database.
Click Start button.
See, what's taking space.

It is a 53 gig drive. I ran the report. it says that most of the space is being used by the windows folder, subfolder is the winsxs folder.

Well, 53 GB drive is a tad small.
In Vista, Windows folder may grow, after some time, to about 15GB-20GB.
You still should have another 30GB left for programs and data. Not much, but manageable.
IMHO, running todays computer with 53GB drive is a never ending war.
You'll clean and clean and clean and at the end you'll keep running into very same problem - not enough space.
With todays prices, you can get 500GB drive for under 50 bucks and this would be my advice - get bigger drive.
