My Dell XPS m1530 laptop with Windows Vista on it sporadically restarts instead of shutting down when I select 'shut down' from the windows menu. It doesn't happen all the time, so I don't think it's a setting I've changed. Any ideas what I can do to stop this from happening?

Google List, Vista Shutdown Issues

Shutdown issues plague every version of Windows, so it's a tedious process to try to sort it out.
