Hey All,

My Sony Viao laptop will not startup. When I hit the power button, I get the Viao splash screen and then nothing happens. I have tried booting into safe mode but can't and even tried doing a memory scan but nothing is helping.

The computer is running Vista. I even tried with a startup cd and the computer still will not start up. Reseating memory had not effect either.

Help!!! Thanks in advance!

Take care,

You mean that you tried to run a diagnostic of your RAM...and it did not run from CD?

Have you tried Sony recovery/restore mechanisms?
