Media Disconnected cant renew ip or release

I am unable to connect online with it
I ping local host and it receives
I try to do a Ipconfig/all

Results are :

IP Routing Enabled.......... Yes
WINS Proxy Enabled ........ Yes

Ethernet adapter Local Ara Connection 5

Media state .......... : Media Disconnected
Description .......... Realtek RTL8139 Family PCI FAethernet

NIC

Physical Adrress:.......... 00-22--A1-F4-6D

Tunnel adapter

Connection-specific Dns sUFFIX..........:

Dhcp Enable......................................: No (But in the propertties it states it is enables)

I have tried to renew / release flush everything unplug routers hardboot you name it
One thing i notice is that is states local Area Connection 5 which leads me to assume that there wre 4 other area coonections that were either deleted or still around
I checked and there I saw Local Area connection 4 atached to 1394 Net Adapter

any who where do I start what do i do any help or suggestions please

I would open Device Manager and look to see if there are any red X's or yellow flags next to your network adapter. Let us know. Also just check the adapter to see if it is enabled.
