Hi

I have a strange problem with my internet browsers. It is the same with IE, Firefox and Chrome.

I use the internet fine for a few minutes then get to a page when I click on links an the same page just keeps reloading. This could be any website. Sometimes it even happens on my igoogle homepage where I search for something it finds results that flick up on the screen for a moment then immediately reloads the homepage. If I reboot I'll get it to work for a short period of time before it goes again.

I am running Vista and have the following protection systems in place:

ESET Smart Security 4 with up to date virus signatures - it finds nothing on a scan now but did find these:

22/03/2010 19:31:04 HTTP filter file http://carpetwizards.co.uk/images/r.html JS/TrojanDownloader.Iframe.NHH trojan connection terminated - quarantined

22/03/2010 19:29:15 HTTP filter file http://carpetwizards.co.uk/images/r.html JS/TrojanDownloader.Iframe.NHH trojan connection terminated - quarantined

27/03/2010 15:44:56 Real-time file system protection file C:\Program Files\TV\eBay_shortcuts_1035.exe a variant of Win32/Adware.ADON potentially unwanted application deleted

27/03/2010 15:44:55 Real-time file system protection file C:\Program Files\TV\eBay_shortcuts_1035.exe a variant of Win32/Adware.ADON potentially unwanted application deleted - quarantined .

I also have Spybot and Ad-Aware.

All these now scan fine and find nothing.

Help please!

My Hijack this log is below, it might help but means nothing to me!

Welcome to Bleeping Computer lj3287,

No malware showing in this one view. The logs do indicate some network "filters" that are part of ContentWatch (see here). It blocks page access based on some type of page content filter, so could very likely be your culprit in that access problem you have. I have not seen this used by malware, so it's presence there suggests placed there by someone with some sort of "hands on" contact with the system, such as another user, or a local network in may have logged into (such as a business has). If you yourself installed it, then you should be able to uninstall it, or even just change it's settings.
