I'm just wondering if I have some setting wrong that is blocking the reply emails from any of you who are trying to help me with this issue?

I see others have gotten replies and help in the time I posted my request and it's probably just that you all are overwhelmed (and, again, THANK YOU for your selfless, volunteer help of others!) but I just want to MAKE SURE I haven't done something that is keeping someone from reaching me.

Of course, if I DO have something set wrong I won't get a reply to this post. Please start a NEW TOPIC that says something like "EMAIL SETTINGS FOR HELP" or whatever you think may catch my (possibly others?) attention so I can fix it and get your help.

I know how frustrating it is when your computer isn't working properly. Let me assure you that your topic isn't lost, forgotten, or ignored. We work with hundreds of logs every day, so we have devised a means of seeing only those topics that don't have responses yet. At the moment, we have over 130 unanswered topics, the oldest dated May 30, 2010 at 7:45 pm Eastern Daylight Savings time in the U.S.A. Your HiJack This topic is dated June 2, 2010 at 5:28 p.m. using the same time zone.

Our volunteer MRT team members have various levels of expertise and training, so while we try to take the oldest DDS/HJT logs, it is often the skill level of the particular helper and sometimes the operating system that dictates which logs get selected first. Some infections are more complicated than others and require a higher skill level to remove. Without that skill level attempted removal could result in disastrous results. In other instances, the helper may not be familiar with the operating system that you are using, since they use another. In either case, neither of us would want someone to assist you who is not familiar with your issue and attempt to fix it.

Please be patient. It may take several days to get a response but your log will be reviewed and answered as soon as possible. I advise checking your topic once a day for responses as the e-mail notification system is unreliable.

Hello there OrangeBlossom! Thanks for getting back to me about getting back to me. LOL! I DID realize that the responses I saw to other posts actually started last week some times. Sooo...I totally understand what was happening and it was like I thought....all you great VOLUNTEERS are just bizzy bizzy bizzy! Further, that you WILL get to me in due time.

So, I'm all good and will be waiting patiently and gratefully!
