Boot from flash drive

is it possible to boot and install windows xp from a flash drive the cd rom on the laptop has went out

I dont think it is, I would go and buy a new CD-ROM for the lap top.

wow thanks for the help guys that was really tough. got it done though it will be nice have a bootable flash drive for xp :thumbsup:
