Occasional redirects, occasional trojans found by AVG - other than that computer is running fine.

Couldn't complete gmer scan - blue screen and reboot about 30 min in. Happened during both attempts, other than that no random resets to my knowledge. I've included a hijack this log as well.

Thanks for any help you might be able to provide

Hi,

ComboFix shouldn't be run if not requested to do so. Post contents of c:\ComboFix.txt log. Also, post contents of attach.txt log of DDS.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I may have got the problem beat but would appreciate a second opinion. Ran combofix quite a while ago before I posted... I believe I was still infected when combofix and DDS logs were created. It is interested to note however that gmer still crashes before completion.....

Heres the info you requested as well as a recent hijack this log (hopefully post infection =)

cheers,

Hi,

Run ComboFix again in normal mode and let it update itself + install recovery console. Post back the resultant log + fresh dds.txt log.

Hi,

Looks ok. You may uninstall ComboFix:
  • Click START then RUN
  • Now copy-paste Combofix /u in the runbox and click OK

Download and run Secunia Personal Software Inspector (PSI) and fix its findings.
