I have recently had a slow down of my computer. I think what is slowing it down is hotbar.com. It loads at start-up with its yellowe smilgy face and search box. And intermitently a new page or my browser(firefox) open up and ad and i have to click the page off. I can not find hotbar in the add/remove programs section. Need help before it gets worse.

Any suggestions?

I thhin it must of come along with activex maybe i do not remember how long since it started

If it's not reflected in Add/Remove Programs...take a look in IE/Tools/Manage Add-ons. You can disable anything listed there.

You can remove it by following the directions provided at http://www.pchell.com/support/hotbar.shtml for Automatic Removal. Disregard the registry edit method mentioned before the Automatic Removal.
