I found your site doing a google search for help with a virus I picked up on my work laptop (HP with Windows XP)

I tried a few simple fixes that have worked on smaller computer issues in the past, but this one is stubborn and slowly taking over my computer!

Upon startup, I get error messages that say "Security Warning: Application cannot be executed. The file ______ is infected. Do you want to activate your antivirus software now?" Frequent Spyware alert Popups appear and my system tray fills up with Yellow shields with black exclamation points. Worst of all, I'm at the point now where no program is even willing to open up. If I double click something, it opens and immediately closes down. Which means I can't even use SuperAntiSpyware right now because it won't open the program.

Please help!
