Well i just reinstalled windows on my desktop and i now seem to be missing my ethernet controller driver. Where can i download this and how do i transfer it to my desktop? I never reinstalled my windows before btw.

if you have a computer manufacturers machine (dell, HP, etc) get it from their website

if custom built and ethernet built into motherboard, get it from motherboard makers website.

if PCI card (like SMC, DLink, etc) remove card to get identifying make and numbers and get them from their website.

also if you did a clean install you may need other drivers such as chipset driver for your motherboard.
