Hello -

Please advise on whether the files below represent a threat or not:

hbnfrlvtssd.exe
udvjpoktssd.exe (twice)

They appear in the startup tab of msconfig. They are not referenced in the Startup Programs Database. Numerous other web searches have not produced anything of value.

Any help or advice will be appreciated.

Edit: Moved topic from XP to the more appropriate forum. ~ Animal

Get rid of them!
They are malicious!
I cannot tell what malware they are since it appears that they are randomly generated names.
You might want to post in the Malware Removal forums.
