I guess that I'm clueless.

What do you call problems?

Does WMP play .mpg and .mp3 files? Does it play .wav files?

What version do you have installed?

Messages such as the one you received at Yahoo...could be the result of faulty code at the site....use your own system to determine whether WMP works or not.

If you can do everything with WMP that you desire...offline...then the websites are the problem.

And...you might check Event Viewer for any errors on the Applications tab.

Using Event Viewer - http://www.winnetmag.com/Article/ArticleID/41669/41669.html

Post back with details.

You said you get two problems. Does that mean the other sites access WMP10 ok? Check in IE TOOLS>INTERNET OPTIONS>PRIVCY>SITES and see if your sites are blocked. If you are running Spybot they maybe on the blocked list of bad sites. If they are I would not unblock them, as you could open yourself to another and damaging problem.

Did you check the list? Spybot will block them as soon as you imunize your system. In XP's case the is over 6000 sites.
