Nod32 optimization for gaming?

I was wondering if anyone had any advice to tone down nod32 only when I am gaming since sometimes it will take up 100% cpu literally stopping the game for 2-10 seconds sometimes depending on if it is scanning something for threatsense or something.

Thx for the help except that esets guide didn't go where I wanted since I already did most of that.
