Hello,

This redirect is undoubtedly part of the same infection collection you've been dealing with here: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/317013/2search-browser-hijacker/ and here: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic315067.html

Given what you have now done on your own, I'm closing those two topics. In order to rid yourself of these issues, you must follow instructions and follow a topic through to completion. Just because the symptoms are gone doesn't mean the infection is gone.

Given what you have already done, I'm going to refer you to the malware removal forum where they use specialized tools.

Please follow the instructions in ==>This Guide<== starting at step 6.

Once the proper logs are created, then make a NEW TOPIC and post it ==>HERE<== Please include a description of your computer issues and what you have done to try to resolve them. Please be as succinct and thorough as possible.

If you can produce at least some of the logs, then please create the new topic and explain what happens when you try to create the log(s) that you couldn't get. If you cannot produce any of the logs, then still post the topic and explain that you followed the Prep. Guide, were unable to create the logs, and describe what happens when you try to create the logs. Since you have run ComboFix, the team will need to see that log, so please post that as well. Please DO NOT run it again unless instructed to do so. Please read this topic: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/273628/combofix-usage-questions-help-look-here/ which explains why ComboFix should not be run unless directed by someone trained in its use.
