Hello Good day!

I would like to ask regarding networking because i have 2 pc with a xp & w7 OS and trying to connect to share folder of XP.

Already create user name to my XP to i set my w7 is only pc that can connect to xp.

then when i tried to connect to shared folder on XP thru W7 using Map Network Drive, it cant connect or "No permission".

when i tried through network folder, same thing happened.

on RUN i use "\\XP.name\filename", same thing happened.

but when i tried "\\I.P.of.my.XP\filename", i can connect to XP shared folder.

I checked the XP computer name or network name and it is the same on the W7. I Map the XP network, and the computername/network name is correct.

What seems to be the problem?

I use commodo firewall before and set some firewall setting but i removed the commodo on my W7.

Thanks and i hope someone can help me.
