i need help bought 2nd hand laptop with drivers missing it is a hp compaq 6110/ the drivers missing are ethernet controler/multimedis audio controller/network controller/pci modem /video controller/ video controller vga compatible i know these can be downloaded from micro soft but all beyond me so i have an xp disk here which i loaded on my desktop what i need to know is if i load it to my laptop will it load all the drivers bk again to get it running correctly

will reformatting the laptop with xp windows disk bring bk the drivers i need?????

It'll give you some drivers. Whatever exist on Windows XP CD. For others you'll still have to go to HP site.
Your laptop may have recovery partition, which would reset the computer to its original state.
Press F10 at HP logo and see, what will happen.
