Hi all,

I'm new to WinMachines
and like most of you? Got PROBLEMS.

Well having read the Read Before You Post
(Thanks Ed.)
I managed to avoid my local computer guy
who wanted to delete all my hard work and
install what he thought would make him a few bob...

It took me 5 hours today
and 4-5 yesterday pheeww
It's working again now.
Just wondering for how long

Welcome to BC!
I am sure the time you spent fixing your computer not only saved you money, but helped you understand your computer better. If you have further problems, don't hesitate to post about them here at BC; there is nothing new under the sun of Windows, so the chances that other members have fixed the same problem is very great.
Regards,
John

 to BC! JulieMia.
Yea the only reason Microsoft is so vulnerable is because majority of computer users use it. So all the crazy crackers and hackers are out there trying to tamper with it. A good example is as Firefox is becoming more widely used more vulnerabilities are being found in it.

Good Luck,
yanowhiz
